But one of the adult characters is the uncle of one of the teenagers who's a person living with AIDS and an ACT UP activist, and he writes these, like, queer 101 note cards to them to pass down gay culture.

And the card about Madonna talks about how he was there when Madonna was performing Holiday.

I can't remember if I said it was at Danceeteria, but it could have been.

Um, I should reread my own work sometimes.

Um, but, but what I do remember writing is that, is that when Madonna said, um, in Holiday she uses the word revolution, and that in the song it's about, like, a turn.

But really what, when Madonna says it makes our head turn, to me what she's saying is not just we're dancing.
