Hoffa

Do you want to have commentary on the trailer first because you were laughing about it, or do you want to go into why you picked Quiz Show?

No, I like the trailer, but the reason I said it's so 90s is because the score used in that trailer, especially at the end, it's from the movie Hoffa.

with Jack Nicholson and Danny Vito.

Not a huge hit.

Or before that, it was the Inception.

Everything had a wall.

And here, they loved using Hoffa's score and The Last Dragon, the Bruce Lee story.

If you ever hear these scores, for whatever reason, they were in heavy rotation in trailers big time.

So the three of them were like equal partners in Jersey productions.

Um, some notable movies they've done Hoffa, which Danny DeVito was in.

Eight seconds, which I've been given a hard time for not seeing.

Get Shorty, Matilda.

I think the tone was set where it's like, "You guys ain't got shit.

And you know what? Like fuck you anyway." There's a scene in the movie Hoffa, I'll say this and I'll shut up, where Danny DeVito plays his like right-hand man, uh, Jimmy Hoffa's right-hand man, and it's like, uh, something to the effect of like the fed's got him.

Like he's taking, they're taking a piss in the urinal, and he says something to him.

Like but the fed basically says like, "You know, we got you." And he's like, "But, you know, if you wanna give up Jimmy Hoffa." And he stops peeing and he goes [chuckles], he starts laughing and he's like, "You think I'll give up Jimmy Hoffa?"

[laughs]

Like, "Fuck you.

Mm-hmm.

Hoffa with Jack Nicholson and Danny DeVito.

Mm.

Uh, Housesitter with Goldie Hawn and Steve Martin.
