Um, and there's supposedly rumors that the generation three Hoenn games are going to be coming to the virtual console around the exact same time that, uh, Pokemon bank support goes the way of the Dodo bird.

So I think the main reason they're probably, uh, forcing this ending of Pokemon Bank is to make people buy the virtual console games rather than using the ancient archaic hardware, which is definitely unfortunate, but I don't think that should necessarily be a surprise to anyone.

But yeah, so that at least seems to be what's happening because then you also have to look at Uh, Generation 4 got the remakes with Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, those are already on the Switch, those already have functionality with Pokemon Home, so that's gonna be Generations 3 and Generations 4, and then you have Gen 5, which I guess still hasn't been remade yet, so that's probably coming down the pipeline here pretty soon.
