Hobby Center for the Performing Arts

So, yeah.

We are speaking with Craig Allen Smith, who plays Daniel, aka Mrs. Doubtfire, in the national tour of Mrs. Doubtfire, the musical, which is currently here in Houston at Tuts at the Hobby Center.

And we're just having a great talk about it.

Let me go into a different whole aspect of it.

So this has been much more easier to dress up like a Scottish nanny.

Well, you won't see him scary offstage, but you will see him as a Scottish nanny.

Craig Allen Smith is Mrs. Doubtfire, and the musical is playing right now through October 25th at the Hobby Center.

We had a live show yesterday and I felt like, ooh, that would be...

I walked to the hobby center from where I live, my apartment.

And so it just ended up being a great day.

It was lovely.

I know.

I'm like, maybe we'll do it at the Hobby Center.

It's beautiful here.

Hello.

Stay with us.

Hello, Houston, continuing on News 88.7.

And now back to Hello Houston live from the Greater Houston Arts Forum at the Hobby Center.

To comment on today's topics, call or text 713-440-8870 or email us at talk at hellohouston.org. And now Tessa Barrera and Michael Adkison.

This is live at the Founders Club.

Leo Sandoval and the Jazz Houston All-Stars will be at the Hobby Center.

The concert will begin at 730.

That's fun.

Uh, Sara Bareilles, the Good Grief tour, is hitting...

I'm sorry, did I say Smart Financial? It's the Hobby Center.

It's tomorrow at the Hobby Center, not Smart Financial.

Uh, you'll win those tickets, and you'll choose between Laddie, Special K, me, or Eric to go in the mystery box.

Or Eric.

You're going to Sara Bareilles-

There you go

... at the Hobby Center tomorrow.

I had the talkback on, it's the worst thing to do.

I do the talkbacks after Broadway shows when they're at the Hobby Center.

Right.

So each run of a show, one night will be a talkback.

The prize is Sara Bareilles concert tickets.

She'll be here, um, at, uh, on October the 8th at the Hobby Center.

October the 8th.

It's the Good Grief tour.
