a few years ago, but it's actually just a themed deck card from the third generation.
Ryan GreenHOST
10:14
There's a Ho-Oh and a Lugia.
Ryan GreenHOST
10:16
I just think they look really good.
Ryan GreenHOST
10:17
They're from EX Deoxys or something like that.
Andrew MahoneHOST
26:40
but so like let's talk about that real quick the legends it's interesting because we actually got kind of like a reference to the legend cards coming out in standard now in the delta rain set you've got the legend stadiums which all suck by the way pokemon is just printing bad card after bad card after bad card it's like kind of insane the legend stadiums are atrocious it's the every time they get two for one dude it is the great reset but but like conceptually the legend stadiums suck like every time they get countered like you're like i have to get two together put it into play and my opponent could just put whatever one card they want out there to counter it it's like the conceptually is a terrible card design It's miserable.
Andrew MahoneHOST
27:19
But anyways, the Legend Pokemon are much different because they basically were like big basic EX Pokemon, but they were balanced because you had to find these two halves of them and piece them together in your hand before you could put them into play.
Andrew MahoneHOST
27:33
They were the format's only two prize Pokemon, right? There were no other two prize Pokemon except for the Legends.
Andrew MahoneHOST
27:39
They give up two prizes when they get knocked out.

Andrew MahoneHOST
34:21

Nothing is the same in the Pokemon TCG ever again after next destiny's releases with those giant Pokemon EX.
Andrew MahoneHOST

Shea LockeHOST

With four brains, it has the intelligence of a supercomputer.
Shea LockeHOST

My first reverse holo is Ho-Oh, fire type.
Shea LockeHOST
71:56
A legend says that its body glows in seven colors.
Shea LockeHOST
72:02
A rainbow is said to form behind it when it flies.
JaredHOST
69:20
Sorry, guys.
JaredHOST
69:21
Now for my ten, Ho-Oh.
JaredHOST
69:26
Okay, I swear some of these ones you just are making up.
JaredHOST
69:29
Ho-oh, because I'm thinking, you know, big bird Pokemon.
ChrisHOST
69:47
either? Damn, no.
ChrisHOST
69:49
That's crazy.
JaredHOST
69:50
Well, anyway, Ho-Oh, big giant bird, big wings.
JaredHOST
69:54
I think he can fling that ball out there to my to-be-named wings and centers, maybe in a fullback slotting in.
Colin DevlinGUEST
65:52
Sorry, guys.
Colin DevlinGUEST
65:53
Now for my ten, Ho-Oh.
Colin DevlinGUEST
65:58
Okay, I swear some of these ones you just are making up.
Colin DevlinGUEST
66:01
Ho-oh, because I'm thinking, you know, big bird Pokemon.
Colin DevlinGUEST
66:17
Did you not play Pokemon Silver or Gold
CressHOST
66:19
either? Damn, that's crazy.
Colin DevlinGUEST
66:21
Well, anyway, Ho-Oh, big giant bird, big wings.
Colin DevlinGUEST
66:26
I think he can fling that ball out there to my to-be-named wings and centers, maybe in a fullback slotting in.
RubyHOST
10:20
Weren't they in Johto? I swear they were in Johto.
Shea LockeHOST
10:23
Ho-Oh and Lugia are in Johto.
RubyHOST
10:26
Lugia.
RubyHOST
10:27
Okay.
SethHOST
0:58
Can we talk about something else? Is it-
BlaineHOST
0:59
I mean, can we get Ho-Oh involved or something? I don't know.
BlaineHOST
1:02
Either way-
SethHOST
1:02
Where's the Ho-Oh love?
BlaineHOST
1:04
Either way, we're gonna talk about what happened with the Lugia, and then also we're gonna talk about another Lugia trade situation that went down with con- couple content creators, vendors in the space, and, uh, we'll talk again.
BlaineHOST
1:16
This is kind of a recurring theme over and over again, this idea of honoring deals, deals in general, trades, all that good stuff.

I just picked that 'cause I was like, "This is the generation that I want to play." I've got the Game Boy Color emulator here, um, and this is, like, the kinda probably the best version of it.
Mick ClockertyHOST
14:05
There's some extra stuff in the post-game, you know, when you're, you get your legendary dogs in that one, and then you've got Lugia and Ho-Oh, they big mad bird things that were on the boxes.
Mick McCormickHOST
14:17
Aye.
Mick ClockertyHOST
14:17
Then Crystal, I think, adds in, like, a secret third thing [laughs] that you can then go-
FrankHOST
54:30
Oh my gosh, that is adorable.
JoachimHOST
54:32
In s- uh, Space World '97 demo, Hoothoot appears to be based on the Pokemon known as Ho-Oh.
JoachimHOST
54:39
It has facial markings resembling freckles and a single pendulum-like tail feather.
JoachimHOST
54:46
Here's that picture.
FrankHOST
54:47
Is that Ho-Oh?
JoachimHOST
54:48
Very... [laughs] It's very tiny.
FrankHOST
54:50
Yeah.
LukeHOST
22:01
I mean, well, I mean, well, I mean, well, we've gotten, so the last two So for Lugia, we got the big Silver Tempest Lugia IR, which honestly I'm not the biggest fan of the card art, but it's Lugia and everyone loves it.
LukeHOST
22:14
And then you got Ethan's Ho-Oh, which actually I like that art a lot.
LukeHOST
22:20
I just wish Ethan wasn't in it.
LukeHOST
22:23
I just wish it was just Ho-Oh.
LukeHOST
22:24
You know what I mean? I like some of it sometimes and stuff like that, but I would have killed for a really cool Ho-Oh SIR card versus just Ethan being in the picture with Ho-Oh.
LukeHOST
22:36
It's still a pretty card, don't get me wrong, but I'd like the centerpiece to be, you know, Ethan.
LukeHOST
22:41
I'm Ethan, fuck, not Ethan, freaking.
LukeHOST
22:44
I would like the centerpiece to be Ho-Oh.
