Wait, have I told you this? That I go to HMS Bounty a lot and the owner, Ramon, was a waiter then and he thinks he serves Sirhan Sirhan.

at when I don't think it was called the Bounty at the time, but he was across the street and then and had lunch there and then went to and, you know, some things happened.

Government having resolved to bring to punishment the mutineers of His Majesty's late ship Bounty and to survey the Straits of Endeavor to facilitate a passage to Botany Bay, on the tenth of August 1790 appointed Captain Edward Edwards to put in commission at Chatham and to take command of the Pandora frigate of twenty-four guns and a hundred and sixty men.

A great naval armament then equipping retarded our progress and prevented that particular attention to the choice of men which their Lordships so much wished, as contagion here crept amongst us from infected clothing, the fatal effects of which we discovered and severely experienced in the commencement of the voyage.

Everything necessary being completed, and an additional complement of naval stores received for the refitment of the Bounty, dropped down to Sheerness, saluted Admiral Dalrymple, paid the same compliments to Sir Richard King in passing the Downs, arrived at Portsmouth, and found there Lord Howe with the Union flag at the main and the proudest navy that ever graced the British seas under his command.

Here the officers and men received six months' pay in advance, and after receiving their final orders, got the timekeeper on board, weighed anchor, and proceeded to sea.

As the white cliffs of Albion receded from our view, alternate hopes and fears took possession of our minds, wafting the last kind adieu to our native soil.

On the nineteenth, we discovered an island of the same description as the former, which was named Carrisford's Island in honor of Lord Carrisford.

On the twenty-second, we passed Maitia, and on the morning of the twenty-third of March, anchored in Maitivi Bay in the island of Otaheiti.

One became the most famous mutiny in history.

In 1788, HMS Bounty set sail for Tahiti with two Kew gardeners on board.

Their mission was to collect 1,000 breadfruit plants and transport them to the West Indies, where it was hoped the fruit would provide cheap food for the enslaved population on British plantations.

The voyage was arranged by Joseph Banks.

The crew mutinied en route to Jamaica.

The breadfruit never arrived.

The mutiny on the Bounty has been the subject of three major Hollywood films, countless books, and an enduring argument about whether Captain Bligh was a monster or a martyr.

What tends to get lost in the story is where it started, in the gardens across the road from this pub.

I guess this w- this qualifies as mutiny.

I was there for that one.

So back on the planet Vulcan, our friends are trying to figure out how to get back to Earth.

And they have deemed the bird of prey, the Klingon bird of prey that they have traveled in, the HMS Bounty, which I first read as Jim's Bounty.

And I was like, oh, that's very good.

But then I saw it's just Her Majesty's ship bounty, which is less fun.

Breaking

the law, breaking the law.

And so they are like, okay, I guess we're going, they're refitting the bird of prey to make it more functional to their needs.

They are all complaining about the smell.
