Historic Third Ward

Live from Studio D in the Third Ward in downtown Milwaukee, this is Cooking with Milwaukee Community Leaders.

Hi, I'm Charlie, and welcome to another episode of Cooking with Milwaukee Community Leaders.

Well, today, my guest is Andre Storey.

It's going to turn north on Jefferson Street, then east on Mason Street, because that is where the Euchre Parade mural is.

Ten stories tall, so there's going to be a moment where they're going to stop in that area and have some fun, and then it's going to turn south on Jackson Street and go all the way to Chicago Street in the Third Ward to get to the actual rally at the Henry Meyer Festival Park.

This is going to be a lot of fun.

Of course, this parade is free, open to the public, viewing up and down the route, so that's a pretty good stretch there to to stretch out and be able to be there.

And then it's going to go down Jefferson Street to Mason to Jackson.

So you've got that Third Ward kind of vibe going on.

And then it's going to end at the Summerfest Grounds.

Or if you want to be real technical, the Henry Meyer Festival Park.

The watch party at American Family Field is sold out.

Fans can also catch the game together at gatherings in the Deer District, Catalano Square, and the Third Ward, and in taverns across the state.

More than 33,000 people have voted early in person in Milwaukee County.

The latest Elections Commission reports lists about 70,000 absentee ballots returned by mail in the county.

But it's amazing to see how many people have either gone into their closet and or gone to the store and gotten Brewer's gear because it is everywhere.

We had a – huge turnout last night it was awesome I mean there were thousands of people just crowding around that place it was wow get out of there to get to the game so thank you to everybody that showed up last night I know I talked to a lot of y'all at the game last night saying that y'all were there and y'all will be back there tonight so please if you weren't there last night come join us man I'm gonna be there I'm probably around two o'clock or so hanging out having a couple beers and then I'm going to lock it in for our pregame show, and let's get the Brewers another dub tonight, man.

They had the huge screens up for the World Cup.

Brewers Baseball is going to be back on Brady Street on Friday and Saturday night in the Third Ward, in the historic Third Ward, Beer Garden.

is being reimagined into a baseball experience.

Broken Bat, the brewery in the Third Ward, just outside of the Third Ward, has Wiffle Ball during the game, a great place to watch the game.

Kelly's Bleachers.

If you're going to the game, Kelly's Bleachers is always full of a whole lot of fun.

So Sweetgreen has some things to figure out, so going with a little lower price point with a high-end product I think is gonna work.
