And for those of your listeners that don't know who Wayne Shorter was, he was a legendary jazz saxophone player.

musician unfortunately he's passed in the last several years but at the time i was in a group called hiroshima that is an la-based band that i was in uh after pink floyd so this is like 1989 90 91 92 that time frame and um we were playing the um hollywood bowl the playboy jazz festival And Wayne Shorter was on the bill as well.

And he saw me sing with Hiroshima.

And then like a week or so later, I get this call from a guy in the business side of the industry.
