I, I mean, I was gonna bring up that the director of the first three episodes and the last two is Hiro Murai, who had done Atlanta and a couple other things.

But Atlanta in particular is an interesting reference point, 'cause that show, you know, as much as that also is a bit of a comedy, has some really weird episodes, some creepy episodes, kind of gets into, like, Twin Peaks-esque territory.

So I thought he was a really great choice or, you know, to sort of establish the, the look and tone of the show.

I would say the biggest thing about this award, these awards being handed out over the weekend, is it's really, like, throwing down the gauntlet.

And I think it's by Hiro Murai, who also never won an Emmy as a director.

I think he won for producing The Bear when it won.

But I don't know.

Like, how did you think about approaching that because it is such a unique genre?

I, I have to cr- I really truly have to credit Hiro Murai and Katie who said, "Listen, n- no one's here to make a comedy or a horror.

We're gonna build a real world, real people, real backstories.

Everything's for real, and that's all we can do.
