um the thing I think that they've done really good well is I was looking at some of the people so the the main um executive producer as well as uh Kate Dippold is Hiro Murai who worked on Atlanta and Barry but they have had other directors as well and one of them um was andrew de young who worked on our flag means death and pen 15 so a comedy director but one of them was ty west who did things like pearl and um triple x and maxine so they've kind of big fan got both horror and comedy directors involved which i think is like for it for the a really good trait that it's got amazing also as well another thing to tell you on it Becca is obviously it's set now and most of the episodes are following the characters that I've mentioned but there is an episode so it's a 10 episode series and it has been renewed for a second series but episode 6 is called Our History and it's set in 1702 and it follows a character Sarah Westcott who marries Richard Warren who's the town's founder and also potentially the reason why the town is cursed though we don't necessarily know it's definitely him but um so that's a really interesting episode it's funny it's very dark and it's very bleak because it's set in that kind of a bit like i don't know if you've ever watched the witch the film the witch it's like that oh yeah i love that film but

yeah it's that kind of setting it's not about like a witch but it's um this episode but it is that kind of like bleak dark having to like you know when people moved over to america and there was like yeah there and yeah it's all bleak and yeah like

Um, but I keep coming back to, uh, discussion I had with Cole Worley on the pod where he was saying that founding moments and like this idea of like when he's starting very giant, you know what I mean? Uh, with his team, uh, And the idea is, you know, in life, there's like not a lot of funny moments that I kept thinking about.

Director-wise, I mean, Hiro Murai knocks it out of the park consistently.

He's done a lot of stuff with Atlanta and elsewhere.

And, and I will say, like, Atlanta takes the swing, so I could see why Hiro Murai would be interested in doing this of, like, "Okay, we're gonna tell our story our way."
