And eight days before Henrik got the sack, they'd beaten AFC Wimbledon 5-0 at Hillsborough.
Alex HarrisGUEST

So, yeah, from the outside looking in, I can see it looks a really bizarre one.
Alex HarrisGUEST
29:29
I think...
Alex HarrisGUEST
31:12
But, you know, you guys all know all about Sheffield Wednesday and its fan base.
Alex HarrisGUEST
31:16
It's a very passionate fan base.
Alex HarrisGUEST
31:19
And certainly at Notts County, you know, a few days on from a 5-0 win at Hillsborough, the chance started and they were very, very loud in a South Yorkshire derby at Doncaster on Saturday.
Alex HarrisGUEST
31:30
So, yeah, it wasn't sort of prolonged, so it got completely toxic, but I think there was a clear strength of feeling there from some of the away supporters.
George SmithHOST
59:47
Yeah, I can't understand it.
George SmithHOST
59:50
I saw Rommel Donovan in the flesh this January just gone for Brentford in the FA Cup at Hillsborough against Sheffield Wednesday.
George SmithHOST
59:56
And yes, they were up against a very weakened Sheffield Wednesday team, a very youthful Sheffield Wednesday team.
George SmithHOST
60:01
But Rommel Donovan stood out like a sore thumb.
Lee BushHOST

He's got that support from Sheffield Wednesday, which is very big.
Ade OladipoHOST
3:11
Obviously, he wants to fight at Hillsborough.
Ade OladipoHOST
3:14
For those of you that don't know, I mean, the American viewers that don't know what Hillsborough is, he supports a club called Sheffield Wednesday.
Ade OladipoHOST
3:20
Hillsborough's at the stadium, holds a round.
Ade OladipoHOST
3:24
I guess if you're talking floor seats, maybe 40,000 and he's desperate to fight there.
Ade OladipoHOST
3:30
I think he needs to make Utilita Arena his home for now.
Ade OladipoHOST
3:36
Pack that out.
Ade OladipoHOST
3:36
I think when it falls about 13,000, pack that out first.
Steve BunceHOST
13:03
But outdoors somewhere in Sheffield, you know what I'm talking about, and against one of the big Americans, come on, let's make it.
Dalton SmithGUEST
13:08
Hillsborough, you know, my beloved football club Sheffield Wednesday support me.

Not for Kel, but what a night anyway.
Dalton SmithGUEST
13:18
For Kel to go and do that, you know, to achieve and go and do that as a legacy, I want to do that at Hillsborough.
Dalton SmithGUEST
13:24
And that's my dream.
Dalton SmithGUEST
13:25
and Shakir Stevenson at Hillsborough.
Spike GoddingHOST

Spike GoddingHOST
4:20
5-0 against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday at Hillsborough.
Spike GoddingHOST
4:24
Tim, you obviously were there as well as many Wimbledon fans.
Spike GoddingHOST
4:28
Made a really good atmosphere.
Tim HansonHOST
5:16
So I don't know if they got, you know, special studs up there and we didn't.
Tim HansonHOST
5:19
But yeah, so Yirdom basically just slipped, completely slipped on the halfway line.
Tim HansonHOST
5:25
when we were quite high up the pitch and like two of their guys were just running through on goal and it was just so easy for them so that but but that yeah it was literally seconds after the restart i think yeah it was weird because i was actually watching with some some mates who live in sheffield who are not not wimbledon fans and don't watch us that often and that i think they were fairly unimpressed by us in the first half an hour like we couldn't string together too many passes but i was kind of like well this is just what we do right we're we're quite comfortable defending they weren't creating a lot really like they they were getting the ball wide and getting a few balls in the box but they didn't create many sort of clear-cut chances so I wasn't really that disappointed by the first half an hour the first goal yeah wasn't wasn't great it's a bit of a deflection balance shot I think off Johnson but the fact we sort of let him run in the box wasn't great and the second one's just disastrous and you know we're not a team that's going to score many goals when we're 2-0 down at Hillsborough we're not going to not going to really come back from that but yeah just front sort in the wound just before halftime in fact i said to one of my mates uh just as they're lining up the cross so i'd probably just take it to nil at halftime now and then about five seconds later the ball was in the back of the net so yeah that that was that was really disappointing and the whole second half was a bit of a non-event for us it was just like how many are they going to score but yeah it was weird because it's like yeah half an hour you thought this is sort of fine but i guess it is you know when when you play like that you're not offering a lot going forward we know that when we go behind the game we're not very good at getting back so it's kind of concealing that first goal is always problematic and particularly when it's the second goal we didn't there was one Sassi sort of had a half chance at 0-0 nice ball in behind and got in a decent position but he just shot wide but yeah maybe the kind of game where we needed to nick an early goal and then sort of cling on certainly didn't turn out that way but yeah it was a good I mean 5-0 defeat aside it was you know a good trip Sheffield's a great city I think and fantastic away support I mean people were saying you know we played them in the 90s and we take like 100 fans or something there or for some games and you know over 1300 there so you know given our away record so far this season it shows that there's still the enthusiasm there at least
Spike GoddingHOST
7:40
We've got to take the positives where we can at this point in the season.
Simon CraftHOST
70:50
It's back in POG form, but I did an article of some of the most interesting draws we could get.
Simon CraftHOST
70:57
Could we go to Hillsborough, Sheffield Wednesday Away, Leicester, Glamour Tie? That's just the same,
Ben AspinallHOST
71:03
isn't it? You said, could we go to Hillsborough, Sheffield Wednesday Away? I mean, that's the same tie.
Simon CraftHOST
71:09
Yeah, well, they sometimes, they did, you know, they used to do the semi-finals at Hillsborough, didn't they? I could have been talking about that.
Ben AspinallHOST
71:15
Could
Simon CraftHOST
71:16
have been.
Simon CraftHOST
71:17
In fact, we played a semi-final at Hillsborough in the 50s.
Simon CraftHOST
71:20
We did.
Georgie WeaverPANELIST
16:59
Nothing, yeah, nothing so far this season.
Georgie WeaverPANELIST
17:02
Okay, I maybe didn't expect to be 7-0 down at Hillsborough, but I don't know, nothing.
Georgie WeaverPANELIST
17:07
Losing at home to Leicester City, it's not surprising.
Georgie WeaverPANELIST
