But what I'm curious about, Hilary, is were you always an optimist? Were you born an optimist? Or did you learn it growing up? If you were, if you did learn it, who taught you? How did you come to having a positive perspective on life?

That's such a great question.

And here's the thing.

I'm not talking about being a Pollyanna.

What I'm talking about is understanding from a neuroscience perspective, which I've been studying for 15 years.

I've got a psychology degree and then business for 25 years, coaching and managing companies and growing companies.

And here's what I know.

Was there one singular big learning lesson that you learned in your professional career, whether it was the five-year-old Hillary to the 30-year-old Hillary to where she is right now that really allowed you to kind of step into your own power and run the business that you're running today?

Oh, that's a very deep question.

And it hit A point inside of me that there are many times in our lives where we just want to shut doors and maybe even put the cement around the door because you don't really want to open it up.

This is one of them.

I had left Oracle.

I had started my entrepreneurial adventure and I had, I had a company that I had raised almost $10 million for software company to keep kids safe online.

And I had a board member and the board member, I just, from day one, when I met him, it just, I knew there was something intuitively off.

I mean,

I want the other women...

I mean, if I, if I look at this, and so I had to very quickly decipher what-All this business, all this, like, very head-based.

And then I'm like, how do I bring the head and the heart in? And if we look at history, IQ has been out there since the 1920s, very much intelligence-based.

Very much, you know, give me the strategy and I'm gonna go do it.
