On October 30th, 2019, Skagit County Sheriff's Office said the recovery efforts had been put on hold due to snow and weather conditions in the mountains.

On the same day, authorities located her silvert sob in Chiquito Creek to the north of the campsite.

They said it appeared to have crashed into a tree at a speed of less than 20 mph before rolling into the ravine.

Hikers reported seeing Sandra on July 4, 2020, said she was barefoot and had a bruise on her face.

They offered to help her, but she declined medical assistance.

People act like the headline of the article was, "Better hiker than you did more impressive thing, and you should feel bad about it."

Or, "Hiker hiked trail with blindfold on, didn't look at single plant or bird, didn't enjoy a single moment of it, comma, is still better than you."

Well, I know when Peg Leg set the record for most miles hiked by a woman, she put out an article basically saying she hates when people say that she didn't slow down and appreciate the trail 'cause her thing is, "I'm not a very fast hiker.

I just hike more hours every day, so I probably actually saw way more than most people do on a thru-hike," 'cause she would hike so far into the dusk and dawns.

大家好，欢迎收听 English Angela 师大。我是 Angela 老师，今天要来教大家六句超实用的邀约英语的口语说法。这几句话英语母语人士天天在使用，但课本比较少教。学完这一集，下次朋友揪你做什么事，你都能够用最道地的方式回应。准备好了吗？我们开始吧。第一句，I'm down，I'm down。我可以，我加入。好，比如有人说 Wanna grab dinner later？要不要一起吃点晚餐啊？I'm down。哦，要哦，我要。那为什么要说 I'm down？你就可以想象一下哈，就是朋友邀你去派对，你直接蹲下来坐进聊天，聊天的圈子里，代表你已经加入了。所以这个 down，这个 down 引申为放下身段，加入行列，你就可以用 down。那这个是源自于1990年代美式嘻哈和街头文化，原来的意思是表示我挺你，我们是同一阵线。那后面呢，就后来就成为最常见的答应语，好，的其中一种，所以我们就可以说 I'm down。那第二句，I'm in，也是一样，我加入。好，有人跟你讲，"We are playing board games tonight。"我们今天晚上要玩桌游哦，然后你就说，"I'm in。"欸，我也要加入。你就想象一群人围成一个圆圈，那你一脚踏进那个圈子里，就代表你正式成为其中的一员。好，那这个是源自于扑克牌桌的用语，好，玩家就是喊这一句，就表示他要跟注，I'm in，他要留在这一局里边，那后面就会一样，就是后来延伸到所有的邀约的情境里面，当你说 I'm in，就是我加入。来第三句，Count me in，算我一份，Count me in。好，有人就讲说 "We are going hiking Saturday。"欸，我们星期六我们要去 hiking，我们去健行。然后你就说，"Count me in。"算我一份。那这个呢，就像说主办人呢，他正在数人头，准备看多少人来参加这个活动，那你就举手说把我算进去，Count me in。这个可能比 I'm in 再多一点主动感，但其实就是这个在，呃，团队里边呢，邀请信里面常会看到，那你就可以讲 Count me in，那这个比 I'm in 再更主动，好，再更主动一些哦。第四句，I'm game。我愿意，算我，算我一个哈。有人跟你讲，"Wanna try that new ramen place?"你要不要试试看就是那家新的拉面店。Wanna try that new ramen place？那你的回答是 I'm game。我愿意，我要，算我。那 game 本身就是游戏、比赛。你可以想象一下哈，你自己已经准备好要上场了，你愿意接受任何的挑战，你就可以说 I'm game。那这个是源自于十九世纪英式猎人的用语，那这个用法变成今天勇于尝试的意思。好，我要，我愿意，I'm game。第五句，I'm up for anything。我都可以啊，我都行啊，什么都可以。I'm up for anything。好，有人跟你讲，"What do you want to do this weekend?"你这个周末要做什么呀？然后你就可以说 I'm up for anything。我，我什么都可以啊，都可以。那我们在记的时候，你就可以想想看哦，up 是代表你精神抖擞，你都准备好了，你想象自己随时站起来迎接任何的提议，你就可以说 I'm up for anything，都可以哦。那这个地方我们可以顺便看一下，刚刚明明一开始的时候我们讲 down，I'm down，怎么这里又用 up？那 up 跟 down 它意思它是相反，可是都是能够表示同意。好，所以这个是它意思不太一样，所以你要懂它的情境。它如果讲 I'm down，就是我来加入你们，对不对？好，我就蹲下来，然后加入大家。I'm up，是我已经准备好了，我 OK 了。所以它这个是意思不一样，但是非常有趣的一个例子。好，这是第五句。第六句。嗯，第六句听起来就有点有趣了，因为我们说 I'm easy。啊？用 easy，嗯。但它的意思也是我可以啦。 随便啦，都可以啊。好，有人问你说：Where do you wanna eat？你要去哪里吃啊？Where do you wanna eat？然后呢，你就回答说：I'm easy, you choose。I'm easy, you choose。我都可以啊，哈，你，你选就好了。那你要想象一下哈，这个是一个很好相处，毫，毫无压力的人哦，对任何的提议都会点点头，说OK啊，没问题啊。好，那英式英语里边哈，这个比美式英语好像更常见一点哈。所以如果你讲这个，你在单独使用的时候，你要搭配那个很清楚的情境哦，避免误会意识。所以你的情境是 Where do you wanna eat？你要去哪里吃啊？那你说：I'm easy, you choose。我都可以啊，哈，你选，好，你选就好了。所以一定要是情境非常的清楚哦。好，那我们今天教的这六句话，有 I'm down，好，我加入。I'm in，好，用 in 进入到你们在参加的这个圈子里，或是数我、算我、算我一份，Count me in，Count me in。还有 I'm game，用 game，比赛哦，这个字，好，就是我也要，我要加入，I'm game。或者是你也可以说 I'm up for anything，I'm up for anything，都可以啊，就是，我都 OK 啊，好，就，就看你们要什么都可以。或者是你讲 I'm easy，I'm easy，就是我都可以。其实他们都很口语啊，好，那这些都是用来答应别人的邀约，或是表示自己很随和的这种说法。那么大家可以挑一句自己最喜欢的或是自己最熟悉的，那下次聊天的时候你就可以直接用用看。好，那也欢迎大家在留言区里面告诉我，好，这六句话里边你最常用哪一句？那下一集我可能就会用到你的留言哦。感谢大家收听《英语学习就在斯达》。我们下一季见哦。bye。
