Um, so Highland ED is getting its name out there.

Um, I presented at our-- locally at our research day at our senior forum and presented this work internationally, um, at the Mediterranean Emergency Medicine Conference in Budapest last summer.

Um-

Um, we did-- started this process about a year ago, May twenty twenty-five, in a design step-back that involved about half of our APPs, about half of our residents, and a significant number of faculty.

And together, we took this as our central insight to craft those kinds of creative design questions.

Patients presenting to the Highland ED are about ten times as likely to leave without seeing a provider, without receiving medical care as at our other sister hospitals.

And the patients in the Highland ED tend to be more socially vulnerable.
