Highbury Fields

I recognised it immediately as the hidden slope leading down to the serpentine lake where I often go.

After an online census revealed my great-grandparents' old address on Highbury Fields, the sorrow I experienced outside the Italian hospital returns.

but this time its source is evident.

We used to take our children to the playground by that house, parking right by my great-grandparents' front door, our shouts and chatting rebounding off the windows.

it made me think.

I do still think of Highbury Fields as a fast park.

George was saying he ran one.

Highby Fields is a fast

And so they just sort of naturally followed me into running.

They started doing... junior park run graduated to doing our, our local adult park run at Highbury Fields.

Um, they, they've both won it.

So, uh,

so what times do they run?

Um, so my son, so son's 16, he's about a 17 minute, um, for 17 minutes for Highbury Fields.

If he was on, he'd be like, yeah, dad, that's, that translates to a 1630 or less on a, on a faster course.

Uh, Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,

There's a couple of them.

I think when KISS launched, and we launched in Highbury Fields, behind the actual, in Holloway Road, there's a Highbury Fields, and we had a license for 25,000 people.

And the police came and said, we can't stop this now, but you've got a hundred and something thousand people here, and we're stopping them coming at the tube stations and standing on that stage and seeing that.

That and receiving the phone call, I'd actually won it.

I don't say it often.

I was, like, maybe twice a year, I start our beloved Highbury Fields parkrun-

... which is five laps of a slight hill.
