I think it's egregious that we have a former TDOT official that is in cahoots with the U.S. arm of the company.

that's coming in to to build these toll lanes and the crazy thing to me is how we keep hearing you know tennesseans first america first but you have five foreign companies that are in here trying to build these new toll lanes for us that they'll control for the next 50 years and you mean to tell me you have this little u.s arm just to say that you're you have a you have an arm based in the united states like it's it's a total grift and that's and that's what they do somebody asked me on my way here it was my cousin as a matter of fact because i was explaining to her like when you're in state office it's technically a part-time job so a lot of folks they have jobs outside of this and what i told her was a lot of times it's these politicians that have their own businesses

they have special interests and all of a sudden it benefits them and their buddies to pass certain legislation so you know people talk about the grift on the national you know the grift is happening in your backyard
