High five

You give me Can You Talk, you give me, uh, Troop, All I Do Is Think of You.

You give me, um, you give me, um, um, um- Some High Fives ...

High Five.

Don't forget- Throw some High Five.

And others will respond just to your laughter and to your sort of demeanor of joviality.

And then there's some laughter exercises where there's one called high five and miss and And you're supposed to pretend to high five each other, but then you miss every time and you just keep laughing.

Umbrella is another one where you can like someone pretends to try to hold an umbrella open and the other people in the group gather around the umbrella and then they laugh trying to get out of the rain.

And you can do ho-ho, ha-ha-ha as well.

Do so.

But we have a tradition, if it's all right, to finish by trying to get a crisp high five with you and me.

thinking like close to the mic? When you say crisp, does it sound like? Well, it might not be.

It's loud.

And then the final thing to remember is to sort of vary the morning greetings.

You don't want to always do the same exact thing like a high five every day all year because then it just becomes repetitive and it doesn't really mean anything after a while.

However, at the beginning of the year especially, don't feel like you need a brand new greeting every day.

You want to teach a greeting, practice it until kids know what to do, and then you can sort of add that to your rotation of greetings.

It's cute because, you know, you'll hear them telling other kids hello in different languages all throughout the day.

They just think it's very cool.

All right, the next one is the high five line.

And if you've ever been to a kid's baseball game, you've seen this in action.

And you guys do a special thing on Fridays.

Yeah, we do High Five Fridays.

High Five Fridays.

They line all the residents in a big circle, and then the lower-aged kids come by and we do the high five.

They make the whole circle.

[crowd murmuring] Residing over the whole center is a special four-legged friend.
