A single that he cut for Sonya Pottinger on her high note label that is called Know You Friend, if you want to know you friend.

jackie brown there he was also a producer so he uh had his own record label called telegraph that he put stuff out on and he also produced other artists but uh very prolific singer jackie brown and we kicked it off with a legend of jamaican music his name was joe higgs and he was from trenchtown uh that single was layer foundation and is an original press 45 on the harry j label there um Joe Higgs started out in the 1950s singing rhythm and blues and doo-wop as part of a duet called Higgs and Wilson.

And then he continued in the 60s doing ska and then rocksteady and then reggae in the 70s.

So he was basically a veteran of the scene.
