Hibernate

It was the name back then.

What you can have is you could have like two dimensions in Hibernate.

One dimension is the primary key and the other one where the version changes.

So what's changed? You know, you have a client, a customer with ID 1.

Mm-hmm.

But how I learned about it is I read, I read blogs, and then I read a blog about, let's say, Spring version this, Hibernate version that, and then Ibatis version this, and, uh, I don't know, Tapestry version that, and some other framework, and some other framework.

And then you try to replicate it.

You take a slightly different number, or you don't go through one specific step that the author of the blog didn't go through, and it didn't work.
