Hessdalen

People have reported strange lights for decades, and researchers have actually set up equipment to monitor them.

Monitor them? The Hessdalen lights.

So this one's got a completely different kind of mystery to it because now we're not talking about like a broadcast interruption or a signal.

We're talking about strange lights that people have been seeing in the same valley in Norway for decades.

All right.

We'll move on to the Hessdalen lights.

Uh, what was once a small, quiet village in central Norway has become a widely known area due to its mysterious lights that appear by both day and night.

These lights, known as the Hessdalen lights, are of unknown origins.

Uh, the lights can appear in an assortment of colors any time of the year, however, white, yellow, and red are the most occurring colors people see, seem to report.

Though many would like to believe these lights are caused by some extraterrestrial beings, others try to theorize a more scientific explanation.

They're, like, physicists and, uh, uh, geologists and, uh, electrical engineers, people who are specialized in magnetics, and they're talking at a very high level about how we're gonna get scientific data, what do we do with the reports that we're getting.

Um, there's a, a f- a fellow who actually is investigating, uh, what's called the Hessdalen lights in, uh, Norway.

Hmm.

Uh, where they actually have this valley where things are seen all the time, and they have, like, computers and radar and, like, everything you could possibly think, all the tech, and they went into great detail about the technology that they have.

They bounce, they split in two, they follow your car.

And in a valley in Norway called Hessdalen, in December of 1981, lights started appearing over the farms, not once in a while, 20 times a week.

They hung in the air, changed color, and shot off faster than anything with a motor.

The people in the valley got scared enough to ask for help.
