Heroes Convention

have you guys been doing since I've been out of circulation for a while?

I think the big thing that you missed out on was when we went to Heroes Con in the spring.

That was really cool.

As much fun as it was, it would have been even more fun had you been there with us.

We've got a showdown between Batman and his greatest villain in the absolute universe.

We've got some Midnight Universe stuff and we're going to be looking at seven comics that I got signed and greeted at Heroes Con this year and some of them can be quite valuable.

All that and more.

Let's just jump right into it.

So the article I'm referencing kind of leads this open ended.

If there are any other Teen Titans members that have surfaced so far, let me know in the comments.

I'm interested to see if in some of the titles i haven't been reading some people have popped up but yeah this is interesting it's amazing to know that we are going to get a teen titans i that is very very exciting you know the teen titans are amazing one of my favorite runs ever especially at dc is marv wolfman and george perez's run of the teen titans i have all the omnibuses and everything so yeah this is really cool all right for the next segment of this episode of breaking continuity we're going to take a look at all the books i got signed and graded at heroes con this year this is mostly absolute universe stuff i mean all the absolute people were there at the con this year so i just had to take advantage of it usually i try to get like older comics uh graded like as you can see behind me like sorry for our audio listeners you can't see this but i have a first black suit spider-man back there great uh signed and graded by the whole creative team and i've got some chris claremont stuff and some uh roy thomas stuff and Anyway, this is all basically modern stuff.

And I'm going to save the best book for last.

It was Heroes.

Heroes Con.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Oh, geez.

That's like for us going out to Heroes Con.

Yeah.

Everything's bigger in Texas, you know, even the drives.

That's a nice little show too.

But Heroes Con in Baltimore are both um kind of larger shows that are very comic book centric i love doing both of them uh so yeah so baltimore was great um you know i get they get to see people that i don't normally get to see which is kind of nice because we're all spread across the country and across the world so these are these are the moments that you kind of get to see people that you've only emailed with or whose work you admired and have never really spoken to before um so, and it's great, I, there's a lot of positive feedback to the G.I. Joe, now that I have the, the G.I. Joe had just come out, uh, issue had just come out, so, uh, a lot of positive feedback as far as that's concerned, of course, it's always nice, um, um, to sign, um, you know, Untold Tales of Spider-Man or Spider-Girl, books that I did years ago that still resonate with people, um, so, uh, yeah, it's always, it was good, it was always fun, always fun to enjoy the show.

I always tell people to read Untold Tales, because it is such a labor of love that you guys put together, and it's, It's just a wonderful book.

I wish it had survived longer.
