Today on the show, we have Dean Schaefer on to discuss the underrated gem from Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness, Here Is No Why.

This was recorded back in March, six months ago.

So this was pre-World is a Vampire Tour announcement, and we discussed how we wished Here is No Why would be brought back to the live set, and it looks like our dream came true since it's made its way back into recent sets.

So, logically, you can thank us for manifesting it, of course.

As I stated, this episode was recorded back in March.

Like I love this song and I can't wait to talk about it with you.

So what is the song that you picked?

I'm like, do I like zero because of this or do I do I like it because I actually like it? But anyways, moving on.

Here is no why.

Things kind of calm down a little bit here.

My thoughts, what I say.

where I feel like they, after Melancholy, they either leaned heavier into the like synthy type stuff or the more like gothic stuff, or they went super heavy.

And there was sort of a middle ground that kind of really dropped out of their music.

And I feel like Here Is No Why is a great example of how good they were at that middle ground that wasn't crazy heavy.

It wasn't necessarily super gothic.
