One of the club's most prominent regulars was a man by the name of Fat Herbie, better known as Herbert Blitzstein, a made man in the mob and the lieutenant for Chicago's outfit boss Tony "The Ant" Spilotro.

Now, that name might sound familiar to some of you, but if it doesn't, I'm gonna give you just, like, a really quick 20-second biography so that you can understand the kind of power that Fat Herbie had being Tony's right-hand man.

But, and think of it kind of like The Sopranos, if you're familiar with that.

And, So it was quite a trial and televised.

And then just all the, you know, of course, the mafia, Fat Herbie Blitzstein.

I was at his murder scene, and he was the last of the monsters in Las Vegas, actually.

And he was Spolatro's right-hand man, straight out of the movie Casino, you know.

He covered the deadly 1980 fire at the MGM Grand, one of the worst disasters in the city's history.
