Herbert Aaron

It's just the greatest thing that I've ever witnessed.

And, uh, as I said at the top of the show, I feel so happy for Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Aaron Sr.

They have got to be the proudest parents.

They've got a wonderful family, and they have a son that has brought so much acclaim, not only to the game of baseball, but just so much to himself, his family, and well, I just wish that Henry Aaron could stand out there and talk to every one of the people here because I think he would like to shake everyone's hand for being here tonight.

[audience applauding] This is the third standing ovation.

There's his father, Herbert Aaron.

Mr. and Mrs. Aaron.

To the right of Mr. Aaron, Henry Aaron's wife, Billy Aaron, who does an outstanding job here as a talk show hostess on WSB in Atlanta.

[audience cheering] And a proud father he must be.

Oh.

How can you ever describe that, Curt? We all have kids.

There's one down.
