So that's a long time ago.

I can't remember exactly when I started, but my relationship with Haven goes back to when it was Haven of Rest as a young boy.

My parents always had it on the radio with Shipmate Bob.

I remember all of those introductions in the Haven of Rest Quartet.

And it was just always a wonderful... listening companion for me on the radio growing up.

And then later in life when Anchor came on the scene, it's just been always how I begin my devotions in the morning.

It's there in my Bible.

For me, it's been a marvelous tool, not only to encourage my own life spiritually and listen to what other men and women that have written offer in terms of spiritual guidance and counsel and affirmation, but then to have an opportunity to do a little of that myself.
