Henry Gluck

It's funny.

I think we actually met Henry Gluck, who at the time was chairman of the UCLA Health Board, introduced us.

And when we were walking away from having lunch, he started to go on about, you have no idea how many degrees this woman has.

So I finished my vascular neurology training and my endovascular training.

And I thought, you know, I just like all my other colleagues would work in a hospital and would do neurointerventions and see stroke patients as well and so forth.

And The idea came up because there was a philanthropist who was, and that's Henry Gluck, our friend who we have in common, who's wonderful and a visionary.

And the idea and the concept was, do you want to give towards something that saves people's lives today?
