Henry G. Shirley Memorial Highway

And she lived down, just down the block from me in Alexandria, Virginia.

We lived just outside of Washington, off of Shirley Highway, if people know that area, and this area called Shirlington, and this is, uh, uh, Alexandria.

And it's these townhouses that are, they're nothing fancy, but they were built during World War II, and everybody who moved down to Washington, DC back in the '50s lived in Park Fairfax at some point.

Somebody grew up off of the Duke Street exit of the Shirley Highway.

They are building a new hospital there, where Landmark Shopping Center used to be.

It is no longer that way.
