Henrietta

Thank you for having me.

Your district includes parts of the city of Rochester, towns of Henrietta, West Henrietta, Chili, Riga.

Is that it?

That is it.

I'm that one? Okay, great.

Uh, we're here at Ruby Car Wash in Henrietta.

Uh, we are talking about Joywave's album Cleanse here today.

And, uh, guys, I regret to inform you about the state of the local car wash industry in Rochester, New York.

Now all we need is that Chumbawamba remix.

One of the other weird...

This is a very, like, Rochester fact, but our last show in Rochester before the pandemic was January of 2020, and it was at the Dome Arena in Henrietta or Marina Jeep Arena, I don't know, whatever, whatever it's called now.

That got turned into a vaccine clinic.

So we've rolled out our first one this year.

It's in the Henrietta substation.

It launches from that substation and the pilot runs it at the REAC right there with the screens up on the you know, the images up on the big screens.

Everybody gets to see the image.

You know, maybe a witness captured a license plate or a deputy is on the way to the job and sees the car, grabs a license plate.

So now everybody's working the same problem on the big screen, and those drones are just an amazing resource.

What we're seeing now, though, everybody's demanding more drone coverage, right? We have Henrietta covered.

You know, we've got Penfield, we've got Pittsburgh, we've got Chili.

Ross Rito joined up with Joel to start building a speaker system for a Bonnie Raitt tour, which is really where it all started to come together for Silverfish Audio.

When we started doing this thing, we were literally building the PA in the basement of this old house in Henrietta, New York.

Ross was into designing folded horns, so that's where the low-frequency subwoof came out.

There was no room to store the gear when we were building it, so we wound up making the cabinets, bringing them from Ross's house over to my apartment and I was literally sleeping on top of the big range cabinets because I had a foam bed mattress kind of thing.

I knew the engineering stuff.

And he was able to build cabinets.

So when we started doing this thing, we were literally building the PA in the basement of this old house in Henrietta, New York, that you probably shouldn't have been running power tools in with all the sawdust and the dirt and stuff.

And we were building the speaker cabinets.
