Henricus

In 1611, Sir Thomas Dale arrives with more experienced soldiers, weapons and even harsher assisted martial discipline.

And so they set up another settlement in somewhat in actual in Powhatan area territory in a town they call Henricus, because Prince Henry of Wales is like give them a bunch of money to do this, essentially.

And increasingly, they start to occupy all of the – so after Delaware softened up these areas, this new wave of guys actually takes over their good agricultural areas.

And so now it's like literally – imagine – go back to the 4K strategy game analogy rather – And now you've now taken some of the good areas with good resources that the other players, the other NPC civs are occupying.

In Virginia specifically, around 1619, we see a document come over with instructions to the Jamestown legislature to form an Indian school close to the Jamestown colony.

That becomes what we know of as Henricus.

It's not super successful.

It basically falls apart with the Second Anglo-Powhatan War in 1622.
