GershomHOST
49:55
Yeah.
GershomHOST
49:56
And then Helya shoves her
WoollyHOST
49:57
tentacle up your butt.
GershomHOST
49:59
Sure.
ErinGUEST
16:51
will i will do that i will get my shield out
JustinHOST
16:55
Helya, you raise your shield.
JustinHOST
16:57
Is this the first time you've raised shield? Is that true?
ErinGUEST
17:02
Yeah.

It's a status penalty equal to the condition value of a strength-based roll and DC, including strength-based melee attack rolls, strength-based damage rolls, and athletic checks.
BethPANELIST
54:57
And I'm hoping because he's strong, that's what he mainly uses.
JustinHOST
55:02
Helya, so he has a minus one on that essentially, right?
BethPANELIST
55:05
Yes.

Hello, and welcome to the Take On Board podcast.
Helga SvendsenHOST
0:10
I'm your host, Helya Svensson.
Helga SvendsenHOST
0:12
I know that being on a board can be an incredibly valuable, interesting, and exciting experience.
Helga SvendsenHOST
0:18
Yet, it can also be lonely, challenging, and let's face it, pretty hard.
Helga SvendsenHOST
1:47
So first up, this theme of resilience came from the final session of one of the recent Kickstarter programs.
Helga SvendsenHOST
1:56
And the final session, we review each of the modules and then there's an Ask Me Anything section.
Helga SvendsenHOST
2:02
In that, I was asked, Helya, what do you think the key skill is that we will need to highlight for our boards to get in the boardroom? And I think they were expecting me to say something like technology or people and culture or finance or legal or whatever, all of those hard skills, the technical skills that you need to get into a boardroom.
Helga SvendsenHOST
2:21
But I gave it a little bit of thought.
KeelyHOST
4:02
it.
KeelyHOST
4:04
I said, um, I literally texted Helya Taylor's not there? Where is she? Because honestly, that was upsetting to me.
KeelyHOST
4:12
I don't know if that's dramatic.
KeelyHOST
4:15
It was upsetting to me.

KeelyHOST
15:09
so it's like honestly a toxic not toxic well yeah it's a toxic relationship it's like really like it looks like just like textbook like it's insane
HeliaHOST
15:20
like it continues to today which we can talk about a little bit at the end
KeelyHOST
15:25
but right and it's so funny because i remember like trying to think of what my ratings would be for the player rating in week three three or four and i was like I asked Helya, I was like, I don't know.
KeelyHOST
15:40
Like, I just like, I'm not sure about Drew right now.
Schmoopy DaddyHOST
94:29
It's like, you have that ability.
Electric Sheep CityHOST
94:32
I don't think we're going to be playing Helya in that deck, though.
Electric Sheep CityHOST
94:35
Probably not, no.
HydraliskHOST
94:37
You know what? It makes me sad when we cut Helya, because I love that card.
HydraliskHOST
94:43
And I understand when it gets cut, but I love that card.
Electric Sheep CityHOST
94:46
Oh, like I said, I've been playing essentially just a Plague Death Knight and dropping rank like, whoa, because I just wanted to play it.
Kasper KalleGUEST
4:52
We really had to do a lot of casting, but it was also important for me because he's not actually...
Kasper KalleGUEST
5:00
He is this a bit quiet character, so for me it was mostly important to feel if he had energy with Helya, the other character, like if you believed in their love story.
Kasper KalleGUEST
5:15
And I think when I put them together, I was just like really convinced that this would go into work because they have so different energies.
Kasper KalleGUEST
5:24
Like Helge, played by Pilu Aspik, he has this bubbly, high-level energy.
PharaohHOST
39:47
I think Taylor could still win.
PharaohHOST
39:48
Helya lost Ashley and Jason weeks one and three.
PharaohHOST
39:54
She's been hanging on to Taylor this whole game.
PharaohHOST
39:58
So shout out to Helya, okay? I still have faith that Taylor or Melody could win the game, and I'm hoping for that.
PharaohHOST
40:06
So there we are.
PharaohHOST
40:08
We got some more questions.
DratnosHOST
33:38
It's such an easy thing to do, right? Yeah, Blizzard didn't think of it, but why didn't they think of it? Because Blizzard messed up by not thinking of jumping in the pool and making sure that that was...
MaximumHOST
33:49
The Helya equivalent would be...
MaximumHOST
33:51
Again, you're going to have to give me a little bit of room here, but it would be like...
MaximumHOST
33:55
the boss is casting the tank mechanic and if the tank just dies before the tank mechanic goes out it just stops casting waves for the rest of the fight like that's the helia equivalent which is in my opinion something far more abusing slash exploity than just jumping in the pool that's there and by the way doesn't do enough damage for you to not do that like i think on a mythic end boss wouldn't you expect the pool just like fucking smoke you but it doesn't do anything like that's i think that's also just like a damage tuning problem too
PharaohHOST
11:44
And Taylor.
PharaohHOST
11:45
Helya has a chance as well.
PharaohHOST
11:46
Everyone genuinely has a chance.
PharaohHOST
11:49
I would put my money on Yash at this moment.
Matt RossiHOST
30:26
But he doesn't have to do that anymore.
Matt RossiHOST
30:27
Well, here's the thing, he doesn't have to do that anymore because of what we did to Helya.
Joe PerezHOST
30:32
True, but he still could if he wanted to in order to get espionage style information.
Matt RossiHOST
30:37
Oh, yeah.
