Wow, I haven't heard that term in a

while.

And that's how I... got all my everything, but they were turning me on to Aldiniola, Return of Forever, and Weather Report, Jaco Pastorius, and I'm listening to this bass player who's playing faster than anybody in the Rolling Stones.

I'm like, what the hell is this? So, Bitch was cool, and all that was cool, and Helter Skelter, all that.

I loved all the Beatles and Stones, and that's why I feel like I'm a decent songwriter, because I really... pay attention to a song, not just a riff, you know? But then when I got into the, further on into the Deep Purple and stuff like that, I got into Deep Purple actually before I was younger.

When I first got into Deep Purple, I was like eight or nine years old.

I'm five or six.

I remember the first – Record I bought was Got to Get You Into My Life, Beatles, Flipside, Helter Skelter, Afternoon Delight, another Maryland band, Starland, and Neil Diamond, if you know what I mean.

So I remember every musical thing, and I bought them at the Kmart in 1974, but that moment forward with music, Everything about it.

I mean, I remember Permanent Waves, Rush.

Now, if you could, in fact, master some lick, if you could just play for me right now some wonderful tune in your dreams, what would it be? What would you be playing right now over the phone for me? If you really sounded great at it, what would I be hearing?

I really like the Beatles, so I'd probably pick something like Helter Skelter or
