If you want someone to talk to, whether it's you with the diagnosis or someone that you know, the National Dementia Helpline is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

It is staffed solely by Jim, so...

You just call up, he's there.

There's episodes there on all sorts of issues.

Everything that touches the life of someone who's got an experience with dementia, you can find an episode there.

There's all of the Helpline episodes as well.

And we'd really appreciate it if, as part of this, you get the word out.

Can't I just call it a layoff? Just a single person layoff.

Pete, I mean, I can't tell you how many times that we hear this on the HR helpline.

Yeah, no, it's not the best idea.

You know, when you call something a layoff, especially as you mentioned, Pete, doing a single person layoff is even worse.

Um, so as of, but as of right now, I'm just volunteering for a crisis helpline that's all the way in the UK.

So it's kind of like what we have, um, in New Zealand.

I think it's the Youthline or the Helpline, something like that.

Um, but I do it for the UK because when our daytimes are the opposite, so they kind of have that thing.

And that has been really ...

Obviously, Tough Enough To Care have their own access with Helpline.

Obviously, Loosehead do as well.

You've managed to find your... your methods and your sort of coping mechanisms.

So I'm, I'm, I'm-

But you know what? I'm gonna pretend I'm calling the helpline when we bring Megan on.

So, so my official title is, uh, National Director of Helpline Services.

I'm responsible for, uh, the entire n- national NAMI Helpline.

That includes our specialty helplines, including the family, uh, new Family Caregiver Helpline.

And I also help a little bit with some of our affiliates and state organizations, uh, t- helping their helplines to be the best that they can be.
