Hellraiser: Deader

recently watching a Hellraiser that Stan Winston popped up working on? Which one? Yeah, I did.

Which one? Hellraiser Deader.

Deader? Yeah.

That's a bad subtitle.

I'm dreading it, but I digress.

I watched Hellraiser Hellworld, paired it with Deader, which is the movie previous, and I actually enjoyed that more.

And I do, Ryan, not to point fingers or blame anybody, but I think your three star or maybe two and a half star rating for Hellraiser Hellworld really, it really got me going.

It gave me hope.

This was so promising.

And I really hated it.

And especially now, like, Hellworld and Deader, the one before this, are the two movies that are living in a post-Saw world.

And Hellworld, like, the whole thing is like, greens blues it looks like a saw movie uh and there's even like jigsaw contraptions in this movie that the people get stuck in yeah and it's it sucks dude it's it it's painful which is why i am dreading the next two so as you should

Yeah.

Like, one thing that, you know, it's kind of nice that you can say about it is, like, you know, if you're listing off, like, the different Hellraiser movies or whatever, and you might say, like, oh, like, Hellraiser 7, you're like... okay, which one was that again? And like this one, it's very easy to be like, oh yeah, wrong turn two.

Oh yeah, that's the reality show one.

Wrong turn three.

Do we get the seventh circle of hell? I feel like we only got like one.

I think we got to wait till Hellraiser 7 in the seventh circle.

Wow.

Yeah.

all right next one is going to be 4.4 So

4.4, I'll just say it's number seven, Deader.

And then

4.3. Let's

Inferno's got a 5.4. That's really surprising.

Okay.

So the next three, Heatseeker, Hellseeker, Deader, and Hellworld just keep going down.

So it's 4.4, 4.3, and 4.2.

In order.

And honestly, I can't really remember Deader.

I can't really remember Hellworld.

I just remember, again, like Jake said, I can remember reasons why I enjoyed them or reasons why I'd recommend experiencing them.

And that's about it.

Deader is a great subtitle.

good, right? And again, it actually does interesting stuff with the myth.

Yeah

... because they filmed this one and Deader at the same time.

At the same time, yes.

So I wonder if, like, he c- w- could only say yes because they were doing them both at the same...

Uh, uh, this is the low.

This is, uh, the title of the review is, "Cinemax movie masquerading as Hellraiser.

After the abortion that was Deader, I really wanted to enjoy this.

It opened interestingly enough, and it was set in a reality where Hellraiser is acknowledged and it powers a super hip video game.

Oh, then

we're getting into the fun stuff then because we're getting into like Hellseeker and Deader and Hellworld and stuff.

It's just, I don't even know what to say.

Well, we'll see, because those are the ones that I probably have never seen.
