Hell Freezes Over

I've seen that, I've seen those versions of, you know, the different versions of the Eagles.

I saw them on the Hell Freezes Over tour, and I think I saw them four times after that.

So I've seen the changes.

Last time I saw them, sure enough, Glenn Frey's son was up there doing it, and he was awesome.

... for the first time since the '70s.

And I saw them on Hell Freezes Over with Don Felder.

Yeah.

So the only guy I never got to see play with them is Randy Meisner, which, uh, would've been a, an amazing experience.

I was a Fairweather Eagles fan, and then I watched, I think it's like Showtime, Eagles, maybe just called the Eagles or Hell Freezes Over or something like that.

And then I just became a super fan.

And number three is one of my favorite songs of the 80s, Head Over Heels from Tears for Fears.

No looping pedal, nothing.

So you would think, "Oh, well, it's so boring." But I listen to the acoustic version, the Hell Freezes Over version of Hotel California, and I figured out, "How can I transition my chords on the mandolin to replicate all those notes that they're playing on the 12-string guitars?" And I can play a, a pretty decent version of that 'cause you just listen.

And I think that to be an original artist to go into cover music is so cool because you're being creative with it most of the time.
