Wayne, who you may recognize as Huntress.

And I believe that's still in Earth 2 continuity.

She's Robin and then Huntress.

Is she not, Jason?

It is in New 52 continuity.

And they had a daughter that was named Helena.

And Helena became Robin.

But there's a little bit of a reveal here at the start.

that there's actually a team tracking Huntress who's wounded and there's a reference later on that this comes out of the Poison Ivy issue so maybe you were less surprised by this than I was

you know because that's where she shot Ivy right with the bolt and it had to go off so yeah

Yeah, really cool page in the title page revealing that with her in like a spotlight.

issue with lots of big sort of action moments you know batwoman jumps out with the smoke pellets early on and gets huntress away from them uh and that's where they kind of talk a little bit what they're doing but a lot of this issue is the SWAT teams like there's two teams and like they're a bit uneasy with each other because one of them wants to hunt batwoman the other wants to hit huntress and they basically agree to work together and like split the bounty but it feels a little bit you know, again, a bit of an uneasy alliance between them because they're kind of greedy.

But I thought the expressions on those faces were good, like the side-eyeing and kind of the anger on their faces of like, you know, do we trust each other and all that kind of thing.

Probably the most interesting part of the issue though is when Huntress brings up the footage of what looked like Batwoman killing people and she's like oh hey so you gonna kill these guys and she's like what why would you say that it's like I saw the footage I know what you've done she's like that wasn't me it's like well why'd you carry the gun then like what's going on with that and that's been a thing for a long time with Batwoman is why did she carry a gun but I thought it was interesting for Huntress bring this up in a way where she's kind of a bit more open to the idea of just shooting the bad guys.

Yeah, because she also carries crossbows that shoot, you know, projectiles that also can do damage, right? So I read it as Huntress going, oh, so you're finally on that side, huh?

Harley Quinn's movie, which could have been a lot better if they just really positioned it more of a Birds of Prey movie, instead of that long, awkward title they gave us.

But it had a great setup with Huntress, Black Canary, and a really bad...

I, I'm sort of...

I could go either way on Catwoman, Catwoman's lineage and whether or not she's, she's the daughter of, of the Falcones, I guess because growing up in a post-Crisis world, Helena Bertinelli, the Huntress, right? She came from that world.

Yeah.

So I guess I kind of always look to her to get my fix, uh, you know, i- in that respect.

They'll be featured.

And then a bunch of the, like, newer recruit characters, or the newly added Justice League characters like Huntress, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Red Tornado.

D- just everybody's in this.

What, what I like, um, and I think we talked about it a little bit, um, in Justice League, uh, you...

There's blood everywhere.

And it's Huntress who has shot at her.

And Huntress is in her full cloak.

She's got the crossbow going.

Um...

She's betting her that she won't shoot her with an arrow and kill her.

And of course, Pam's right.

The police show up and Huntress leaves and is like, you know, you don't need any enemies anymore.

So I really liked this.

And then obviously with much with, um, uh valerie bertinelli there that we had uh uh helena um sarah's sarah's willing to go helena bertinelli helena uh sarah's willing to go the extra the extra distance that oliver's trying not to so she put the guy out of the misery because he definitely threatened her sister so

And it tells her, yeah, you've always been only about you.

And it's also the surprise appearance of my favorite huntress, Helena Bertinelli.

who shows up and surviving the quagmire that was the one-issue Red Hood run, who could have easily killed Ivy and was like, yeah, you know what? You don't need enemies like me.

Your friends are going to take you out yourself.

Yeah.

And meanwhile, Huntress and Renee Montoya are also investigating some crimes.

And Harley Quinn has arrived back in the city because she got let go from the Suicide Squad because they were like, you're...

You did good.

it's so funny i there are a lot of i i i the point about like azarello doesn't really know how to write for women i think maybe he's got like three women yeah he's got like sort of angry he's got crazy woman and he's got sort of like angry violent woman actually those might be the two

Yeah, no, those are the two for sure.
