Heist Recordings

We started in Brooklyn with Law Of Tempo, and we finish with him, too.

"The Right Way" is the song that opens his album, and this remix comes from FUK, two Dutch guys, Daniel Leseman and Hans Payman, friends since childhood, signed by Detroit Swindle to Heist Recordings.

After a whole evening on the road, it feels good to come home with a Dutch remix.

Now, because what a trip it was! Brooklyn, Tulum, New Zealand, by way of a warehouse in Hackney Wick, Los Angeles, a village in Guinea, Lake Ohrid, and Thessaloniki.

Now there's a lot more coming as well.

Think of a new Riva Star and close counters on Heist Recordings, Fresh LaVan, Peter Brown, Nico Demus, Crack and Smack and quite a bit of Gabriel Pozo throughout the mix.

So this one moves around but there's definitely a common thread of percussion, soul and live instrumentation running through it.

Now, if two hours of dirty disco is never quite enough, then have a look at the member section alongside the DJ-only versions of the weekly shows.

Yeah, we are getting nicely settled into this one now.

Since the last time I spoke to you, we went from Lex Johnson, Disco Dumper and Naughty with Lost on the way into Loose Ends with Piano Bar and then Riva Star and Close Counters with Gearbox.

And that last one is taken from their Push Your Luck EP on Heist Recordings, another release that's very much on my radar at the moment.

And right now you are hearing Kelton Prima with Penny Delight.

Paradise[upbeat music]

Last two you heard, Kasim, "Paradise" on Toolroom into Dam Swindle with "Call Me" on Heist Recordings.

Don't forget, you can find a full track list of the tunes I play on both my SoundCloud and Mixcloud pages.

Listen to the show again on both of those platforms.
