Heather Fawcett

It just came out, but nope.

Agnes O'Bear's Mystical Cat Shelter by Heather Fawcett, which I talked about on the show.

I loved this book.

It's so cute.

Having said that, it's a little weird, but I have enjoyed it.

I finished Wondrous by Heather Fawcett.

I cannot say enough good things But that's Heather Fawcett.

I finished Carry On Jeeves.

I know I'm in the middle of another Jeeves book.

Fortunately, This week, no trains, so hopefully I will get rid of this because the Santa Clarita Marathon 5K is coming up on November 15th.

In the Fluffy Books, I am listening to the book Wondrous by Heather Fawcett.

I love her books, as you may have noticed.

Wondrous is a sequel to Alice in Wonderland.

There's a lot of those out there.

What I like about this is, first of all, I love Heather Fawcett's imagination.

And this is a very, very thoughtful sequel.

She's really done a great job advancing the story, letting the characters grow and develop, and telling us what has been going on since Alice came home from through the looking glass.

Just I was in so many in progress, and then they all just kind of happened to wrap up on the same day.

Mm, first of which was the one and only Agnes Aubert's Mystical Cat Shelter by He- uh, Heather Fawcett.

I had mentioned last time that I was gonna need a bit of a boost to get me through the book club book, and this was gonna be my choice.

This is just such a cute, sweet, cozy fantasy, and I had to enunciate that slowly because my brain wanted to push all of those words together into some mishmash of syllables.

And this was actually a birthday gift from my husband.

Um, I thought it was, I thought it was really apt to read this now for a couple reasons.

One of them was I thought I was going to have the opportunity, I thought I was, to actually see Heather Fawcett at an in-person author event in October.

Uh, but unfortunately, uh, Heather Fawcett won't be at this event.

I haven't really.

Heather Fawcett is very descriptive.

So

I'm excited to see what she does with this.

I would

recommend her books and audio because much like Lee Bardugo, we talked about her last episode.

Heather Fawcett is has a lot of description in her books.

So I tend to do better with audio with hers.

I love them both, so very excited to see what this sequel book is gonna be like.

[page turns] And another book that's also coming out on the 6th that I thought sounded interesting is called Wondrous by Heather Fawcett.

This is the same author who wrote the Encyclopedia of Fairies, that whole series, and she's also written another cozy fantasy that I've had on my list.

But this is timed to the 75th anniversary of Disney's classic Alice in Wonderland, and it says this young adult sequel follows teenage Alice on a curious new adventure down the rabbit hole many years after her first visit to Wonderland.
