Heather Duke

Winona Ryder played Veronica Sawyer, a smart student trapped inside a powerful clique of girls who were all, rather conveniently, named Heather.

Shannon played Heather Duke.

At first, Heather Duke is subordinate to the clique's dominant leader, Heather Chandler.

But as the story becomes increasingly dark, Duke grows into a more confident and unpleasant figure.

Heather's was not a major box office success when it first appeared.
