Heathcote

The Prado is packed, the road is still dark.

Heathcote is about two and a half hours away southwest of home, sitting between Bendigo and Seymour in central Victoria.

But this isn't just another park run day road trip.

MacGyver Creek Trail is my Nendi, the newest event I haven't done yet, and the final one I need to complete all 127 current Victorian park runs.

The real yarn is the road there, the place, the volunteers and the people we meet.

Every barcode has a story and the barcode is only the beginning of the story.

As I head down the Hume and across to Heathcote, this drive feels different.

It feels like I'm closing a chapter that has taken years to write.
