There is dice, always loaded, always disputed.

Medieval dice games such as Hazard were so popular and caused so many quarrels that authorities repeatedly tried to ban them.

There is also chess, merrills, which you may know as Nine Men's Morris, and tables, an early form of backgammon.

One thing you will not find tonight, however, is a deck of cards.
