Hayley Squires

I mean, we love to see him in film, obviously, here at Picturehouse, but spoilers, we will be seeing this on our screens as well.

Josh is one of my interviewees today, alongside the wonderful Daniel Mays, who plays Joe's manager, Tom Moody, and Hayley Squires, who plays Tom's mistress, Lorna.

She's sort of tasked to convince Joe to box, but finds herself developing kind of an unexpected bond with him.

All three are brilliant.

Josh O'Connor and a very, very good cast.

Daniel Mays, Hayley Squires, Zubin Varla, Stanley Townsend, all very good, all very watchable.

The play is about boxing, set in 1930s America, and it has a lovely period feel.

The director, Sam Yates, wrings everything he can out of the staging, with a string quartet, adding some very well-choreographed musical accompaniment, and a powerful evocation of the boxing, using a punching bag with a camera mounted atop it.

But yeah, this is Faye Marsay, uh, who I think is brilliant in the incredibly disappointing Ted Lasso at the moment.

But speaking of crime thrillers, additional cast have been announced for Shy & Lola, which stars Hayley Squires and Bel Powley.

The new cast include Elizabeth Berrington, Amber Grappy, Thomas Turgoose, and Edward Bluemel.

And if you don't know those names, definitely would recommend looking them up and watching some of the shows that they're in, 'cause all four of those are pretty fantastic.

But he's surrounded by this cast of just some great, great, great character actors.

Daniel Mays, Hayley Squires, you know, Zubin Vala, David Dabney as

well.

And they are all

It's got a superb cast, even by the Almeida standards.

Hayley Squires, Daniel Mays, Richard Fleishman, Zubin Varla.

And it's entirely sold out, deservedly so.

It will be shown in cinemas from the beginning of November so people can see it there.
