Haven Quartet

And you might have recognized the voice.

That was Johnny Erickson Tata singing with the Haven Quartet.

Now, if you've ever spent any time with Johnny, you're quickly going to learn several things.

First, that she loves Jesus and she speaks about Jesus with an uncommon tenderness.

And you wrote here, I was in bed nearly every day with back pain.

And even though I'm now back in my wheelchair, you said, I'm still playing these marvelous CDs.

The Haven Quartet has really meant something to you over the years, hasn't it?

Well, it has.

We're not quite ready to close yet, but this hymn meant so much to Little, so we're going to play it right now.

This version by the Haven Quartet, just the first and last verses, but try to hear them in light of what this would have meant to Little in that moment.

Be still my soul, the Lord is on my side.

Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain Leave to thy
