Haste the Day

... th- the EPs weren't, weren't great.

I remember, uh, Haste the Day came through, and they were very kind to us.

They were just kind of touring and, and before they had gotten-

[laughs] The band's back.

And then it's like, oh, man, everybody has always been like, "What would've happened if TJ never quit? So let's do it." Yeah.

"Let's pick up where we leave off." And it's this conversation we have at a bar, and we've got Stephen Keech, who's the singer of Haste the Day- Oh, Stephen.

Yeah ... our good friend.

It's hard for me to turn off the music because normally my brain's kind of constantly moving in that direction.

Um, but going to, going to shows with some of my buddies here, um, Me, my buddies, Kevin, Joel, Josh, just went and saw Haste the Day a couple weeks ago here in Columbus.

So, like, getting together with those guys and, you know, spending time with the wife and the cats and, you know, just kind of traveling and that sort of thing.

I'm always open for things.

So I remember, um, we were on tour with haste the day and those guys, they knew like we were just the opening act.

We were just kind of starting out and they blessed us with some money to help us like for gas and to help us get by and like buy food one time.

Pretty staunchly, just melodic hardcore and then, like, fucking... hardcore bands that sound like metalcore bands like Hammer Bros

I feel like the melodic hardcore is kind of the it's an easier gateway than something like that if you're not coming from punk you're coming from punk that would make more sense but you're coming from the venue you're coming from a Haste the Day show

yeah I was wearing my Newfound Glory merch there we were on Bridge Nine so it was okay Yeah, yeah.

It was one of Killing the Dreams' last shows.

We should talk about our first concert.

We went and saw Haste the Day.
