Even if you look at the goalkeepers, Cleveland Callagher...

Max O'Leary and Gavin Bizzuno Gavin Bizzuno's obviously got into the Bolton team but Mark Travers you thought would have been involved and he hasn't obviously played for Everton this season so he's out obviously Nathan Collins is a big miss out for four or five weeks with a calf injury that's your captain that's automatically a huge loss and I know we are very well stacked with centre defenders but he's a big loss either way so there's a couple of question marks who's going to play on the right at back three is it going to be a back three who's going to play right wing back who's going to be the second midfielder alongside Jason Malumby and yeah who probably plays up front alongside Troy Parrott you'd imagine Chidoza Agbene but yeah there's a lot of question marks but Liam Kitching is a player he's left footed He turns 27 in a few weeks time and he was an integral part of the Coventry City promotion team last year.
David WilsonPANELIST
9:02
Coventry obviously made a couple of sign-ins during the summer, either whether he was told or they came to a mutual agreement whether that he'd leave and go and play first team football somewhere else he did he's gone to Sheffield United he's a big physical lad and he's just left footed centre back so hard to come by so he could be an important part and this is a strange kind of international break because we have basically three weeks and four games so it's a bit like a mini tournament so I wouldn't expect him to see him maybe early doors in the couple of games the first couple of games but I think at some stage he will be used and this might be the era for We talked about new eras on the green scene a couple of weeks ago, but this could be the era for Boston Lawal, Harvey Vale, to stake their claims as this new face of the Irish team.

The midfield, you'd imagine, will be Jason Malumby, Jason Knight and Fenezas.
Matthew BrennanPANELIST

No Mark Travers, obviously Hemer Haglundsson.
Matthew BrennanPANELIST
2:39
not too happy with the fact that he's not playing much football this time around even though it didn't seem to matter before Max O'Leary's form probably one of the reasons for that the defenders Dara O'Shea Jacob Ryan Liam Scales John Egan James Abankwa Jimmy Dunn Liam Kitching first call up for him first call up for Joel Bagan as well although he was called into the squad before the World Cup but didn't in fact make it over to join up with the squad and then Ryan Manning is the final defender there as well we'll get into all this in a little bit more detail in a moment but The midfielders, Jason Malumby, Jason Knight, Finn Azaz, Boston Lawal, Jamie McGrath, Harvey Vale and Conor Coventry.
Matthew BrennanPANELIST

And then finally, the few attackers.
Matthew BrennanPANELIST
3:15
We've got Troy Parrott, Adam Ida, Chidozi Ogbene, Tom Cannon returns to the squad.

12 MINS LATER

Matthew BrennanPANELIST

I think there's a world in which he becomes a fairly important part of our team over the next little while.
David WilsonHOST
15:07
yeah and even with that like the the centre back pairings there is going to be change over the next couple of weeks there are four games it's a bit like a mini tournament you're not going to have the same obviously you're obviously not going to have the same 11 start every single game so having versatility having options to play a couple of different positions and even maybe a couple of different systems which you might see over the next few weeks is going to be very important interestingly Ben as well Boston Lawal has been named as a midfielder we are kind of we are debating even an off the ball breakfast on Thursday morning as well about who might play that second midfield role alongside Jason Malumba you'd imagine but I know Lawala was mentioned in the press conference as well
Ben SymesCORRESPONDENT
15:50
yeah he did get asked about him I think the exact wording he got asked was is this the camp where Boston and Lawala can kind of impose themselves as the starting midfielder for Ireland to which Hamer said hopefully so look we know the injury record of Boston and what's happened there I mean, I'm really interested to see what happens to Harvey Vale in the midfield in this camp.
Ben SymesCORRESPONDENT
16:12
Like he's played a lot deeper for Queensborough Rangers, probably in a role that... you know, could fill in where Josh Cullen has been missing out.
Matthew BrennanPANELIST
24:49
I don't know, I know we were talking about right back and who plays right wing back, but also who plays in Satchman Field?
Enda CollPANELIST
24:56
Jesse Malumby The other central midfield option I think is there for the taking I know Malumby was very good the last couple of windows that we've had but I thought moving away from the World Cup and into this next sort of phase I thought there was a world there where you could just change it completely and I didn't think his position was nailed but he's been excellent since the start of the season and no one else has really stepped up but the position beside him is definitely there Josh Cullen's obviously not going to be available for this window lads who've been around the squad the last while that aren't here now obviously Will Smallbone I can't see him being involved because he doesn't have a club and Alan Brown is I think still trying to get out of that contract that's under him so maybe he might be one for the next little while so them guys aren't going to be there Jason Knight's back available properly now I know he was available for the last window but hadn't been playing when we were doing well And then you're looking outside of that, could Harvey Vale play an essential role? Is Boston Lawal going to become this player that plays a centre-half for his club but just is a midfielder for his country? That'll be very interesting as far as the match day goes.
Enda CollPANELIST
25:55
And Conor Coventry too is probably, we always looked at as maybe the closest thing we have as far as profile goes to Josh Cullen, albeit on a... to a lower degree as far as standard football he's playing and maybe the ability that he does have I'd be intrigued to see what that looks like but I don't think we're going to learn that from what the squad looks like I think we're going to get the squad in a couple of hours time Squad will be as expected as far as the midfield goes Do

you know an outside shout for an Ireland squad? I know he's had a bit of an injury as well this last couple of weeks, but he should be back for the weekend.

Do you know an outside shout for an Ireland squad? I know he's had a bit of an injury as well this last couple of weeks, but he should be back for the weekend.
Conor McEvoyHOST
11:14
Well, the couple of games he has played, he hasn't done enough in my eyes to show he's good enough at that level.
Conor McEvoyHOST
11:18
You talk about him in Harvey Vale, potentially there.
Conor McEvoyHOST
11:21
Like, I don't know what the situation is by not picking either of those two.
Conor McEvoyHOST
11:26
I know I asked him about picking Finneran and Devaney, and he spoke more about Finneran that he's already been there.
James FfrenchHOST
13:11
You've also
Dylan HudsonHOST

got Harvey Vale and Rocco Vada who've played those positions previously.
Dylan HudsonHOST
13:16
I think
James FfrenchHOST
13:16
Harvey Vale, we talked about, he's played deeper this season, which is probably like he was a foregone conclusion to get into the squad just based off that.
Dylan HudsonHOST
13:24
But it goes to point out, maybe we could end up playing a system with two number 10s, you know, and maybe you put Benny at right wing back going forward.
Dylan HudsonHOST
13:33
That could work out, especially, you know, Jack Boylan's impressed.
MicahHOST
7:59
like
HarryHOST
8:00
we haven't got something anywhere close really like we've got players who might go through hot spells like I'm sure Harvey Vale will have a little patch this season where he scores a few worldies like he did at one point last season but it's just about that consistency and at the minute we haven't really got anyone who looks like they can just create something from nothing So, yeah, it's tough.
HarryHOST
8:25
It's going to take a hell of a lot of coaching from Julian Stefan to come up with something that will consistently break down teams like that, because it's so much easier to play without the ball.
HarryHOST

Dunstan BentleyPANELIST

And then, um...
Dunstan BentleyPANELIST

So I'm, I'm struggling at the moment with Ronnie Edwards, Harvey Vale, Callum Warden, Boy Kempa.
Dunstan BentleyPANELIST

I was struggling with another player, but I think I might have found something.
Dunstan BentleyPANELIST

Paul NealonHOST

And as I said, Jason Knight.
Paul NealonHOST
18:38
played 90 minutes for Bristol in that one and then Jason Malumby played 90 minutes up against Harvey Vale in a one-all draw with QPR so yeah two midfielders coming up against each other I think Vale by sofa scores pictures of the formation he was in the kind of like the 10 position but he had been playing like a deep line playmaker at times as well this season and well that's so yeah Benny he actually played 22 minutes in a 1-0 win over Preston for Lincoln City he's obviously alone there till January so I do think it's key for him to keep getting minutes he must still be struggling if he's only kind of getting bit part minutes but I do think he's important for Ireland to be interested to see now if he does come out will he be playing in them games as a start because he's been one of Halgrimson's kind of favourite players over the term Rocco Vada, he played 32 minutes in a 2-1 loss to Stoke for Watford.
Paul NealonHOST
19:33
And then Sammy Smolik, he got an assist and played 90 minutes in a 2-1 loss to Birmingham.
Paul NealonHOST
19:39
And Aaron Cashin played 85 minutes in that one as well.
MikeHOST

And of course, now we get to do former Blues in order when they first joined Hull.
MikeHOST

Liam DeLapp, Fakao Tamori, Harvey Vale, Mason Burstow, Neil Clement.
MikeHOST

Has Fakao Tamori just
