Harvest Bible Chapel

But, uh, I know for a lot of people, it was very disillusioning.

And then on the other one was, um, James MacDonald and Harvest Bible Chapel, another mega church in the Chicago suburbs, had like seven different campuses.

And James MacDonald was also a celebrity preacher on the radio and on TV.

And so there were a lot of people that followed his Walk in the Word program.

Many people give lip service to biblical authority but deny it in their practice.

God helping us, this will never be true at Harvest Bible Chapel.

I commit myself to the faithful proclamation of the truths of God's word so that the people whom he entrusts to our care will have a solid foundation of truth to build their lives on.

And I affirm before you this morning my conviction that the answers to mankind's deepest problems, no matter what we face, are found in the Word of God.

It's new in the sense that it's always going on.

There's a process underway.

Sometimes I think of the history of Harvest Bible Chapel as, honestly, God making me into a more loving person.

I always had the truth thing, man.
