Harry Wessels

He's coming off a four-year college career.

And Harry Wessels, who's been around boomers camps, a huge body, but again, a first-year pro.

So you replace all those elite wings.

And I know Bullquall didn't play the last three months of the season because he did his ACL in January.

with Andrew Carr, who's an unknown, but it seems like he's going to fill that same role.

How effective, like as a predominantly outside five, he lets Xavier Cooks play inside the four and then Cooks will slide down to the five when necessary.

And Harry Wessels, who's about seven foot a thousand and just like an absolute unit.

So yeah, it feels like there's a lot of turnover, which is usual for a championship team because like, you know, players price themselves out of coming back and then other teams jump at the opportunity.

But I think they showed a lot.

Jaden Stone, Will Johnston, and Harry Wessels.

I think in different ways, all three of them really impressed me.

So those were the standouts from a positive standpoint individually.

Tyler Robertson's going to have a huge role this year, I believe.

And then the rookies, you know, Harry Wessels, the big center Edison Marys, Jaden Stone out of Missouri, Will Johnston.

So those two are going to be huge.

And obviously, we've lost a great deal.

They got Luke Longley there, right? So they've got the pathway to develop in a, in a faster time than some other big men.

But you look at all three, Wessels, Spurgeon, and, uh, um, Carr, they all bring something different to the table, but none of them have played any relevant minutes in a professional league ever.

Spurgeon's played some garbage time, right, you know, as a DP.

Carr's played a f- a dozen games in the G League, putting up 10 and 7 or something, right? [laughs] Like, man, it's, it's a wait and see here, but, um, they're gonna have to figure it out real quickly, right? And-

Yeah.

Well, Perth don't like hanging on to any of those guys.

No, well him, Harry Wessels, and, and Bol are all West Australian guys there, and none of them ended up in Perth.
