Harry Tam

There's a surprisingly few stories about people who made it as doctors for a book about Asians in Aotearoa.

But I guess... stories of people who broke the mold in some way or who uh maybe didn't quite achieve the dream but are more relatable for that they are who formed the book so there's people who might be described as troublemakers who are also in this book um people like uh who my friend calls the gang uncles like um Harry Tam and Bill Maung in there.

I'd be doing that.

I'd be highlighting the centre-left's concerns about things like the gang patch ban, like they opposed this, all that kind of stuff.

Because when I came to the Mongrel, we drew our patches.

Mongrel Mob Life member Harry Tam is here to give insights into a world he knows better than most.

So my whole korero was to raise the awareness of our community of trauma and the need to treat trauma.

It is really important-
