Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

So much.

Drew, what did you think of Harry Potter? I almost said Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter, and the Half-Blood Prince.

I liked it more than I thought I would.

My memory of this one was like...

It's subtle,

sure.

But who is the Half-Blood Prince? Oh, I was going to say something else of what is the memory.

Oh, that is, well, it's all not really tied together, but it's all in this movie.

And doesn't tell him when he was making fun of her for thinking that Harry had given him the Felix Felicis.

Like, the amount of petty that I would have been to Ron when he was treating her so terribly in Half-Blood Prince.

Oh, I would have burst his bubble so fast and she never does.

She never does because she cares about him.

So Voldemort clearly understood that there was some sort of connection between them, but given his extensive knowledge of Horcruxes, why didn't he ever suspect that Harry might be carrying a piece of his soul? I think there may be a few different explanations for this, but I'm going to start with the circumstances under which Harry became a Horcrux in the first place.

As we learn from Professor Slughorn in Half-Blood Prince, a Horcrux is created through an extraordinarily dark magical process that begins with murder.

By killing another person, a witch or wizard damages their own soul, tearing it apart through an act that violates the natural order.

But murder alone isn't enough to create a Horcrux.

And then I watched Deathly Hallows 2.

And then I watched Border and Half-Blood Prince.

And now I'm in the middle.

I started watching Prisoner of Azkaban like two nights ago.

So I don't know what I'm doing,

man.

I like Half-Blood Prince.

I've watched the movies too many times.
