[laughs] Thanks to the 3-0 win over Stenhousemuir at Ochilview, uh, Borous was stuck between the sticks.

Uh, Harry Milne continued at left back as Stuart Findlay and Jamie McCart were chosen in the heart of defense, with Jordi Altena replacing Cristian Borcegovic at right back, uh, in the midweek match.

Tam Magnuson [laughs] made way for Yan Dhanda to accompany Laurel Mendy in midfield.

Uh, and Rogers Mato, Sabri Guendouz, Saba Cairjota, and JJ Williams all dropped onto the bench for the usual attacking quartet of Josh McPake, Claudio Braga, Calvin Miller, and James Wilson to return.

No, well, the, the thing is, I was going to say, the thing that might caveat that and stop that-

Is that he's not the only imposter

... is at the first game is that Harry Milne might take the majority of the-

I think with just the number of games, with the European exploits, with the expectations from last season, with the change of manager, with the change of everything that they were doing.

but in the cold light of day when you get to international break which is the first staging point in the first chunk of the season it's only seven games in Hart's almost feeling like a better Nick in terms of to me week on week they feel like they're improving even though this wasn't the best of results for them it does feel like they're becoming a better team on a week by week basis and at some point all of their players or at least some of their players won't be injured and at that point you can then actually start playing players in the position that you want to play them in so you don't have to hook Stuart Huff in after half an hour and start moving people around so you don't need to you don't need to be relying on Harry Milne you can then start looking at again once Raynaud's back once Fagan-Wallacott's back once I suppose I presume Halkett may be back at some point in there as well once Spittal's back all these guys in there as well the bench suddenly looks quite the stand

will look strong never mind the bench so yeah they've got a lot of options when they still have a lot of options as a stand I mean I'd agree probably they are the team that's had the best start to the season overall yeah because they got through Europe they got knocked out of two competitions but they got there in the end and they're in the semi-final of the League Cup and league wise you take it from their perspective I think as to where they are just now I do think there's a lot of moving parts still with Hearts there's a few issues in the team and you know in some respects I think maybe the league results have been maybe slightly better than the performances have been or at least maybe you know they're fortunate that some of the other teams in the league above them aren't going back great guns themselves but like I think Braga for example doesn't look comfortable in this system I would say which is odd given how good he is and it feels like it feels like the role he's playing almost shoots at him but it doesn't seem to be at the minute and there's the issue with there's definitely an issue at the back in terms of what Sura Finlay in particular doesn't look comfortable doing what he's been asked to do and then the issue in the middle of the park which is less of their own in some respects because Jeff had an injury.

So yeah, there's definitely a few things to fix.

So, before we look ahead, we're going to talk a wee bit about Harry Milne as well, because you wrote something you asked, you talked about a ranking about him yesterday.

But before we get to that, just kind of briefly, how are you feeling after Tuesday's

Difficult start to the season and he gave kind of explanation around it.

They fell behind in the first half early on as Crowhouse finished in eight minutes, although they were back on level terms when James Wilson leveled things up midway through that first half.

But Falkirk, having passed up a number of chances, eventually got their second as a terrible Harry Milne pass was picked up by Owen Ames, and he was able to finish off the upright to give his side the victory.

A first win over Hearts in the top flight for 18 years, and it was thoroughly deserved, you'd have to say.

Hearts off the pace tonight, not at their best by any stretch of the imagination as it finishes at the Falkirk Stadium, Falkirk two, Hearts one.

Despite that victory at Easter Road this evening, they're on four points at the bottom, uh, Falkirk and Dundee United just ahead of them on five points.

And it was good to see Harry Milne back in the team as well.

We talked about deputies and everything else, but it was good to get obviously our vice, vice captain back, uh, after a, a long injury, and obviously our vice captain, he was sitting on the bench as well, uh, with Kingsley returning, so aye, it was good just to get a couple of these bodies back, um, 'cause we are obviously going to start needing them very soon.

Aye, absolutely, especially, uh, with like the way we've been with the squad in July and stuff, so I think we're starting to see like them getting close to fully fit, if not fit, um, especially from like previous games and stuff, eh, where like we have been using the squad a bit more, uh, depending on who we're playing obviously.
