Harrup Park

Shandi has grown up in Mackay, goes to school there and builds her life there.

By 23, she is working in hospitality at Harrop Park Country Club.

Sometimes she's in the coffee shop, sometimes she's waitressing.

It's ordinary work, serving customers, clearing tables, finishing late.

Her work, her relationship, her friends, her life is woven through Mackay.

There have been relationships that haven't worked, but now she is with Aaron Macklin.

He works at Harrop Park too as a chef.

And on this Friday night, she is doing what she has done before.
