Harold Shedd

All right.

Harold, Wade, it's been a fun couple days here.

This is, uh, uh, the next guest we have has a rich history.

I know, Harold, you did some stuff with him.

Y'all were in business together, but he's got a, a long history of incredible copyrights and, and publishing business, and, uh, uh, I think this is gonna be a real treat today.

You wanna go ahead and introduce our guest?

Oh, really?

Yeah.

All right, guys.

Wade, you've heard Harold and I talk about this guy for a while.

And you know, Harold always said the hardest job in the music business was promotion.

And this is one of the best ever.

I've known him forever and worked with him some.

Harold and he worked together.

Harold, why don't you introduce this guy?

Well, we go way back and...

And my name is Alison Craig.

And yeah, welcome to the second part of the Harold Shedd interview.

And thanks for joining us.

Oh, my goodness.

You know, one of the greatest advocates for the LGBTQ society.

Yeah, just an amazing human being.

Now, before we go into the Harold Shedd second part, when I was listening to it, you had a bit of a throwaway line and I thought, hang on a minute, because you've done so much and I don't know a minuscule percentage of it.

But you casually mentioned that you produced a record called Billy Ray Cyrus' Thin Line, which was his 14th album.

Well, thanks for sharing.

Harold didn't write the liner notes on it.

Let's just say he's writing your book.

He's writing your story.

in a couple months we'll be halfway through it

cool

I know you met Harold in 2021, but when were you first aware of Harold? I

tell you, I have been aware of Harold Shedd, and first of all, I want to say that this book is the honor of my career.
